Regional Director, Executive Liability Claims – Claims
Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals seeking limitless possibilities. As a Director, Executive Liability Claims on the Claims team, you will provide quality XLP claims consulting and advocacy services to MMA clients in the UMW Region.

Responsibilities
You will assist producers in the sales process by explaining our claims advocacy service, provide suggestions and recommendations to adjusters to assist with claim resolutions, develop claims management strategies with clients, and document activity. You will help clients reduce the cost of claims and provide the necessary information to determine the best claims management approach. Duties include training, acting as an educational resource, public speaking, prospecting, and partnering with HR/Safety and other partners to develop best client outcomes.

Qualifications

10+ years of claims experience including strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

General knowledge of Executive Liability lines of coverage, contractual policy language requirements and the implications of that language as it pertains to denial of claims.

Demonstrated ability to work at a varying pace, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.

Ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and to communicate and influence executive leadership.

Additional qualifications that are a plus, but not required to apply:

Law degree and/or insurance designations (AIC, ARM, CIC or CRM).

Compensation
The applicable base salary range for this role is $82,400 to $153,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
