Kindergarten Teacher

St. Patrick Catholic School in Brighton, Michigan is hiring a Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The school is located at 1001 Charles Orndorf Drive, Brighton, Michigan.
Applicants must be a practicing Catholic who is committed to fostering a child’s relationship with God while promoting academic excellence in a 21st‑Century classroom. Strong communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and a solid understanding of classroom management are required.
Qualifications:
Current State of Michigan Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K‑5 all subjects/6‑8 self‑contained).
Early Childhood Endorsement preferred.
Experience in early literacy instruction.
Training in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and/or Orton‑Gillingham or other systematic multisensory phonics instruction is preferred.
Application requirements:
Pass a criminal background check with fingerprints.
Participation in the VIRTUS program or proof of such participation.
Submit online application with cover letter, resume, college credentials, at least three letters of recommendation, and a copy of the teaching certificate.
Governing employment with the Diocese or with parishes, schools, and agencies of the Diocese.
