
Kindergarten Teacher

St. Robert Catholic School seeks a faith-filled, energetic Kindergarten Teacher who supports the Catholic mission of the school and fosters a positive, engaging learning environment for young students.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Support and model the Catholic mission through word, action, and instruction
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with school and diocesan curriculum
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
Monitor and assess student progress; use data to inform instruction
Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that promotes respect and self-discipline
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success
Uphold school and diocesan policies and maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required); Early Childhood Endorsement preferred
Valid Michigan teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
Practicing Catholic in good standing with a strong knowledge of the faith
Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
Proficiency with educational technology
Additional Requirements
Completion of background check and Protecting God’s Children program
Ability to perform physical duties typical of a classroom teacher (standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, supervising students indoors and outdoors)
