Job Description
Communicate with students accurately and effectively in his/her teaching area
Demonstrate interest through careful preparation of appropriate materials and resources
Maintain a professional rapport with students and other school personnel and fulfill professional responsibilities of the School District’s Educational Goals
Listen and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel in a manner which enhances learning and understanding
Encourage the development of student involvement, responsibility, critical thinking, and independent study to create an atmosphere conducive to academic learning
Use a variety of instructional techniques, methods, and media related to the objectives
Organize instruction to take into account individual, ethnic, and cultural differences
Provide opportunities for successful learning for students with different capabilities
Plan instruction to achieve selected objectives
Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Requirements:
Appropriate level license/endorsements if necessary and successful completion of all background checks.
