About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered Science Instructor for the 2026-2027 academic year. The primary responsibility is teaching laboratory-based Physics and AP Physics courses, with additional teaching of other science electives or core courses as departmental needs arise.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging laboratory and classroom instruction in Physics for grades 6-12.
Teach AP Physics courses and other science electives or core courses as needed.
Collaborate with faculty to support school-wide initiatives and traditions.
Mentor students through rigorous academic programs.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Physics or related field.
Several years of proven classroom experience.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to present complex concepts accessibly.
Pedagogical versatility and scientific literacy.
Salary and Benefits
Salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with education and experience.
