Job Description
Qualifications:
Employment as a teacher and/or coach with a valid Iowa Coaching Certificate or Coaching Endorsement.
Review the UCSD Actions of Excellence to gain an understanding of the expectations for UCSD employees.
Reports To:
Principal
Job Goal:
To instruct participants in the fundamental skill, strategy, and training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. The student‑athlete shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation and internalization of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self‑discipline, self‑confidence, and sportsmanship. Implements “quality” principles and tools to improve effectiveness of the program.
Terms of Employment:
Contract as determined by sport and season dates. Compensation to be negotiated between the Urbandale Education Association and the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Education.
