Job Description
The Westborough Public Schools seek a talented Cafeteria Food Service Worker to join our caring staff at Westborough High School.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am-2:15 pm
Starting in the 2026-2027 school year.

Summary:
Performs general food service duties including sanitation, cashiering and basic prep work.

Salary Range:
Food Services Salary Scale; Hourly pay per food service contract & experience
Central Functions of the Job (may include but are not limited to)
Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables
Weighs and measures designated ingredients
Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
Serves customers in a friendly, efficient way following outline steps of service
Performs cleaning duties in the dishroom, kitchen and serving area
Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating and food safety rotation procedures
Operates POS for meal and snack sales
Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area
Performs other duties as assigned

All appointments are conditional based on a satisfactory CORI, SORI and SAFIS Background Check per 603 CMR 51.00
