About Our Family
We are a warm and active family with a 4-year-old son and a friendly golden doodle. Mornings move quickly—everyone is out the door by 7:45 AM for school drop-off. One parent works long hours and travels frequently for high-level professional commitments, while the other parent oversees the family’s day-to-day responsibilities. We deeply value support from someone who helps create calm, order, organization, and consistency.

We’re looking for a grounded, trustworthy House Manager & Family Assistant who thrives in a household where responsibilities vary day to day, and where anticipating needs makes all the difference. This is a role for someone who is observant, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently. If you enjoy taking ownership, seeing what needs to be done without being asked, and keeping a home running smoothly, this will be a wonderful long-term fit.

Who You Are
The ideal candidate is someone who is:

Calm, steady, and comfortable with a quieter household environment

We prefer someone who is respectful of space, is comfortable/works well solo, and can be soft spoken.

Extremely organized and detail-oriented

You maintain systems, create order, and notice when something is out of place.

Self-motivated and proactive

You see tasks before they are assigned — a worn porch mat, a cupboard needing reorganization, food for upcoming travel, packing or unpacking for trips — and take initiative to address it.

Discreet and trustworthy

Given the nature of the family’s work, confidentiality and professionalism are essential.

Comfortable with dogs and young children

Interaction with both will take place and an adequate confidence and comfort level is essential.

Flexible and adaptable

Particularly when schedules shift, vendors arrive, or the parents’ travel schedule changes.

Kind, respectful, and open-minded

The family values someone who blends in easily and supports their household values.

Aligned with family communication values

Neutral language around food and praise (especially when interacting with child)

Minimal phone use around the child

No screen time for child
