Salary: $165,000 - $220,000 per year A bit about us:
We are partnering with a growing national litigation firm to add a Senior Insurance Defense Trial Attorney to its expanding California practice.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned California insurance defense attorney who can lead files independently, run day-to-day litigation strategy, and serve as the primary attorney managing complex matters from inception through trial.
The ideal candidate is someone who has real courtroom experience, has sat first or second chair in trial, and is comfortable taking ownership of sophisticated defense matters while partnering with leadership on broader client strategy.
About the Firm:
This is a nationally recognized litigation and trial firm with a strong insurance defense platform and a modern, remote-first infrastructure. The firm is growing rapidly due to client demand and offers attorneys the opportunity to do sophisticated work in a more flexible, sustainable environment than traditional defense firms.
The Opportunity:
This role will work closely with a senior partner who maintains the client relationship, while the attorney in this seat will run the file and handle the day-to-day litigation execution.
The firm needs someone capable of taking ownership of complex matters and driving cases forward with minimal oversight.
Unlike traditional insurance defense environments where attorneys are narrowly assigned tasks, attorneys in this role are trusted to own their cases from inception through resolution. You will work directly with experienced litigators, contribute to litigation strategy, and play a meaningful role in achieving successful outcomes for clients.
The firm operates on a modern remote-first platform, allowing attorneys to work from anywhere while remaining closely connected to leadership, colleagues, and clients. This structure supports both flexibility and professional development while maintaining high standards of legal work. Why join us?
* Lead sophisticated matters with true ownership
* High-autonomy role with direct leadership access
* Fully remote platform with modern litigation infrastructure

* Real opportunity to grow with a national practice
* Expansion driven by demand—not turnover
