Unit Manager
to join our exceptional team in a supportive, rewarding, and resident-centered environment.
About the Role
As the
Unit Manager , you’ll lead clinical care on your unit while supporting and developing a team of dedicated nursing staff. You'll collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest quality of patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance and serving as a key liaison for residents and families.
You’ll also oversee one of our specialty care programs:
Wound Care Unit Manager
Infection Control Unit Manager
Key Responsibilities Include
Oversee day-to-day nursing care on your unit
Supervise, support, and mentor clinical staff
Lead clinical rounds and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Collaborate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives
Step into leadership in the absence of the Director of Nursing
Part of on call rotation
If Wound Care Focused
Assess, treat, and manage a range of wounds (e.g., pressure ulcers, surgical wounds)
Develop evidence-based wound care plans and educate patients/families
Document care accurately and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care
If Infection Control Focused
Conduct infection surveillance and staff training
Investigate exposure incidents and implement follow-up actions
Ensure compliance with all infection prevention protocols
Lead policy updates and coordinate with local health authorities as needed
