MainStreet Family Care is growing and hiring a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver urgent, primary, and telemedicine care across our Monroeville, AL clinics.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
Performing minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
Suturing and splinting
Providing general orthopedic evaluations and management
Reviewing x‑rays (with radiologist confirmation)
Managing general dermatology and eye problems
Interpreting general EKGs
Emergency management skills
Offering general GYN expertise and treating children of all ages
Assisting with occupational medicine and telemedicine services
Schedule
Clinic Hours (extended, 7 days a week):
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Rotating schedule (every other weekend):
Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
Qualifications
Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
MSN or higher education (new graduate friendly)
DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
