
Supply Chain Planning Manager

The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing supply chain planning activities at the site level. Based in Seneca, SC, this role ensures efficient material flow, robust supply planning, and strong team performance to meet customer demand, cost, and service objectives.
Travel: Up to 10%
What will you do:
Lead and manage all supply chain planning activities within the plant/DC, including incoming, outgoing, and internal material flows.
Oversee material management and supply management processes to ensure continuity of supply and optimal inventory levels.
Supervise, coach, and develop a supply chain planning team, including goal setting, performance management, and skill development.
Drive execution of supply plans using SAP, ensuring data accuracy, adherence to planning parameters, and timely decision‑making.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Warehousing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance) to align supply chain plans with business priorities.
Monitor and improve key KPIs such as service level, inventory coverage, obsolescence, productivity, and cost.
Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to secure customer delivery commitments.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields (or similar) is required: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics.
SAP experience is required (material planning, supply planning, inventory management modules).
Proven people management experience, including leading teams, performance management, and capability development.
Strong background in material management and supply management within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
Solid understanding of supply chain planning principles, inventory optimization, and end‑to‑end flow management.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment and drive results through collaboration and structured execution.
