Project Description
The Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) G-6 Information Technology Support Services project is a comprehensive non-personal services contract designed to provide IT services and Digital Trainer support for CASCOM and its subordinate organizations at Fort Lee, Virginia.
Mission and Scope
The CASCOM G-6 mission is to provide IT support to CASCOM and its subordinate organizations, including the Army Sustainment University (ASU), and the Ordnance (OD), Quartermaster (QM), and Transportation Corps (TC) schools. The G-6 provides comprehensive computer and IT support for Department of the Army (DA) civilians, contractors, and permanent party military personnel. This includes support for Non-secured Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Digital Trainers, Logistic Information Systems (LIS), Mission Command system training support, conventional classrooms, Classroom XXI, faculty/staff, and web product support.
Position Overview
The Alternate Site Manager shall act for the Contractor when the Site Manager is absent and have the same authority and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study, OR five (5) years related experience
Minimum of five (5) years' experience within the past 10 years in program/site management
Secret security clearance and CAC eligibility required
Responsibilities
Assume all Site Manager duties and authorities in their absence
Assist Site Manager with daily contract operations
Coordinate with Government representatives
Ensure continuity of operations and contract compliance
Support personnel management and quality assurance activities
Available between 0700 to 1700, Monday through Friday
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language
Professional and ethical behavior
Compliance with Government security requirements and policies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
