
Sustainment Supplier Requirements System Engineer Asc - Level 1

Description
The Candidate will be an integral member of the Sustainment Requirements Integration (SRI) team comprised of technical SMEs that leverage established relationships with the value stream teams (e.g. Engineering & Technology, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Sustainment Operations, Program Management Offices, etc.) to coordinate the delivery of Sustainment requirements to our Supply base.
Acting under the guidance of Technical Leadership, the Candidate will operate within a set of well‑defined processes for Supplier Statements Of Work (SSOW) development, Technical Evaluations of Supplier proposed offerings, Requests For Information, and negotiation support.
The Candidate will support management oversight of requirements impacting the supply base, ensure the supply base understands the appropriate response to requirements laid out in their SSOW, support verification of Supplier proposal responses aligning to Prime request for proposals, support resolutions to technical and performance issues associated with sustainment products, support fulfillment of contractual requirements, deliver customer satisfaction and value, and provide quality services and products representing best value to customer/program requirements (cost, schedule, performance).
The Candidate will be tasked and supported by Technical Leaders on the SRI team.

Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; current active Secret clearance is required. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with MS Office suite applications
Prior business or project management experience
Ability to travel
Desired Skills
Experience with extracting, analyzing, and manipulating data to drive decision making
Strong analytical, communication, or interpersonal skills
Effective oral/written communication skills
Proactive, self‑starter with motivation to perform with excellence
Ability to multi‑task and prioritize workload to meet program/customer needs
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment where adapting to change quickly is essential
Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Estimating and/or finance experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure

Work Schedule
Part‑time remote telework: the employee selected for this position will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
