Sustainment Supplier Requirements Integration System Engineer- Level 2

What You Will Be Doing
The Candidate will be an integral member of the Sustainment Requirements Integration (SRI) team comprising technical SMEs that leverage established relationships with value‑stream teams such as Engineering & Technology, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Sustainment Operations, and Program Management Offices to coordinate the delivery of sustainment requirements to our supply base.

The Candidate will operate within well‑defined processes for Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW) development, technical evaluations of supplier‑proposed offerings, requests for information, and negotiation support.

The Candidate will provide management oversight of requirements impacting the supply base, ensure GSC buyers and impacted suppliers understand the appropriate response to requirements as outlined in their SSOWs, verify supplier proposal responses align with the prime request for proposals, resolve technical and performance issues associated with sustainment products, fulfill contractual requirements, deliver customer satisfaction and value, and provide high‑quality services and products that represent best value to customer and program requirements (cost, schedule, performance).

The Candidate will be supported by technical leaders on the SRI team.

Basic Qualifications

MS Office suite applications experience

Experience in business, project management, or related fields

Ability to travel

Desired Skills

Experience extracting, analyzing, and manipulating data to drive decision making

Strong analytical, communication, or interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business

Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills

Estimating and/or finance experience preferred

Demonstrated experience driving complex issues or problems to successful closure

Strong work values—integrity, dependability, self‑confidence, and a positive attitude

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to change quickly

Ability to multi‑task and prioritize workload to meet program/customer needs

Effective oral and written communication skills

Proactive, self‑starter with motivation to perform with excellence

2+ years of related experience

Current active Secret clearance

Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedule for this position: 4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
