Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Podiatry Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering comprehensive Podiatry care to patients, working closely with an interdisciplinary team in both long-term care and acute settings.

Responsibilities
Provide podiatric consults for residents in long-term care facilities
Assess and manage foot and ankle conditions including diabetic foot complications, ulcers, nail disorders, and infections
Perform nail care, callus reduction, and minor procedures when appropriate
Evaluate gait issues and foot deformities affecting mobility
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prevent falls and foot complications
Educate residents and caregivers on foot hygiene and preventative care
Document findings and treatments in EMRs in compliance with regulations
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (Hospital/outpatient office experience will also be considered)
Active and unrestricted NP license
DEA license required
CPR certification (BCLS/BLS)
Master’s degree in Nursing (NP applicants)
Graduation from an accredited NP program
Preferred: Experience in Podiatry (training available if not)
Preferred: Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Sigma, Visual, PCC – training provided)
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
