About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Dean of Nursing to provide strategic leadership and management for its nursing program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all academic offerings align with the college's mission and meet accreditation standards. This role involves overseeing faculty and staff, curriculum development, and assessment, as well as maintaining partnerships with healthcare providers to address rural healthcare workforce needs. The Associate Dean will also be involved in budget and resource management, and community and college engagement, and will be expected to uphold the college's values and strategic plan.
Applicants for the Associate Dean of Nursing position at the company should have a Master's degree in nursing, current RN licensure, and a minimum of 5 years' of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years' in nursing education. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated management and leadership abilities, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. A Doctorate degree in nursing or a related field, experience with ACEN accreditation, and familiarity with strategic planning and institutional assessment are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in community college settings and a strong understanding of the needs of the local healthcare community.
