About the Role
SpeechRx is seeking an Adult Medical Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CF) with a strong interest in medical speech pathology to join our specialty practice in Stuart, Florida.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dedicated adult-only setting, focusing on complex medical cases with access to advanced diagnostics and mentorship in instrumental swallowing evaluations (FEES).
What You’ll Do
Conduct evaluations and treatment for adult patients with:
Dysphagia and swallowing disorders
Neurogenic communication disorders (stroke, TBI, dementia)
Voice and airway disorders
Head & neck cancer-related conditions
Participate in or train in FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing)
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, patient-centered team
Qualifications
CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) eligible
Strong interest in adult medical speech pathology
Experience in acute care, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings preferred
Interest in dysphagia management and instrumental assessments (FEES)
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
