Responsibilities
Prepare physical layout drawings for substations and produce electrical plans and sections as well as grounding and conduit drawings.
Prepare bills of materials and review drawings and specifications.
Prepare Substation General Arrangement.
Prepare Substation Electrical Equipment Plans.
Prepare Substation Section Views (Elevations).
Prepare Substation Detailed Bill of Material.
Prepare Substation Grounding Plan.
Prepare Substation Conduit, Electrical Connection, and Grounding Details.
Prepare Substation Below Grade Conduit/Raceway Plan.
Prepare Control Building Equipment, Cable Tray, Lighting, Grounding Plans and Sections.
Qualifications
5+ years experience in utility substation design.
Associate degree in engineering technology or drafting (preferred).
Proficient with AutoCAD, P4A modeling, and MicroStation.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Pay Range $70,000-115,000/year
