We specialize in substation, transmission, distribution, distributed energy resources, and EPC services.
Responsibilities
Prepare physical layout drawings for substations and produce electrical plans and sections as well as grounding and conduit drawings.
Prepare bills of materials and review drawings and specifications.
Preparation of substation drawings including:
Substation General Arrangement
Substation Electrical Equipment Plans
Substation Section Views (Elevations)
Substation Detailed Bill of Material
Substation Grounding Plan
Substation Conduit, Electrical Connection and Grounding Details
Substation Below Grade Conduit/Raceway Plan
Control Building Equipment, Cable Tray, Lighting, Grounding Plans and Section
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in utility substation design.
Associate’s degree in engineering technology or drafting preferred (minimum 2 years).
Proficient with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Compensation
Pay Range: $70,000 – $100,000 per year.
