
Project Engineer

The Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of engineering and project milestones. The role involves coordinating with engineering teams, monitoring deliverables, and supporting approvals and final documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
Track project progress and ensure alignment with planned timelines
Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure timely submission
Coordinate with engineering teams for approvals and document flow
Identify delays, risks, and critical activities; propose corrective actions
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
Support final documentation and project close-out activities
Ensure proper tracking of milestones, deliverables, and approvals
Assist in resource planning and workload distribution
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related)
2–5 years of experience in planning/scheduling in oil & gas or EPC projects
Knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
Skills
Strong analytical and planning skills
Good understanding of project lifecycle and engineering workflows
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
Effective communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
