Project Manager
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a technology engineering organization by driving strong execution discipline, delivery transparency, and governance rigor. This role partners closely with engineering leads, product owners, and key stakeholders to manage project plans, milestones, and delivery tracking while ensuring JIRA accuracy and audit readiness. The Project Manager is accountable for structuring work effectively, surfacing risks early, and ensuring delivery commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

Own and maintain end-to-end project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables

Translate high-level initiatives into clear, actionable tasks aligned with team capacity and priorities

Actively track execution progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, driving mitigation plans

Facilitate regular project cadence (weekly or bi-weekly status reviews) to ensure leadership has clear visibility into progress and blockers

JIRA & Delivery Management

Own and maintain JIRA boards to ensure:

Epics, stories, and tasks are clearly defined, sized, prioritized, and assigned

Status, acceptance criteria, and dependencies are accurate and up to date

Sprint and milestone tracking reflects actual delivery progress

Partner with engineering leads to improve workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and delivery predictability

Produce and present JIRA-based metrics including velocity, burndown, milestone progress, and delivery risk

Milestone & Dependency Management

Define, track, and manage key milestones across multiple initiatives

Coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment on delivery expectations

Escalate milestone risks early with clear data, impact assessment, and recommended actions

Audit, Governance & Documentation

Support audit, risk, and compliance activities by:

Maintaining clear project documentation, artifacts, and delivery evidence

Ensuring plans, approvals, traceability, and artifacts meet governance requirements

Partnering with audit, control, and risk teams to respond to inquiries efficiently

Drive adherence to SDLC standards, technology delivery processes, and documentation expectations

Stakeholder Communication

Act as a central point of coordination between engineering, product, leadership, and external partners

Deliver concise, executive-ready status updates on project health, timelines, risks, and next steps

Ensure clarity around ownership, decisions, and follow-ups

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Project or Program Management experience supporting technology or software delivery teams

Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, including issue management, reporting, and workflows

Proven ability to manage complex timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple workstreams

Experience supporting audit, governance, or compliance efforts in regulated environments

Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models

Familiarity with SDLC controls, risk management, and technology governance frameworks

Experience supporting engineering or platform teams in financial services or similarly regulated industries

PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification (preferred, not required)
