What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor directions and screening procedures, and support a professional environment for patients, staff, and guests.
Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual occurrences in a clear and timely manner while following post orders and healthcare location protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Hospital vaccines are required.
This position may involve work in a hospital morgue.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
