Twin Falls Subaru is hiring a Car Buyer, and it's exactly what it sounds like. Instead of chasing customers around a showroom, you're out finding great used cars and buying them. That's the whole job. We call it \"reverse sales\" because the hustle is the same, but the pressure flips. You're the one holding the checkbook.

If you've worked the auction lanes, appraised trade-ins, or you're a current or previous salesperson ready to be done with floor traffic, keep reading.

What You'd Actually Be Doing
Your day is yours to run. A typical one looks like this:

Scrolling Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, KSL, AutoTrader, and Cars.com for private-party listings worth a call

Reaching out to sellers, asking the right questions, figuring out which cars are worth a look

Going out to inspect vehicles, running the numbers, and making an offer that works for both sides

Closing the deal: title, bill of sale, payment, handshake

Coordinating with our drivers to get the car here; or,

Towing the car back yourself (we provide a single-car trailer) or coordinating with one of our drivers

Hitting your monthly acquisition targets and getting paid for every quality car you bring in, on an increasing scale per car bought!

You'll work alongside our Used Car Manager, General Sales Manager, and dealership leadership.

The Pay

Up to $10,000/month based on purchase volume. Earning potential is uncapped.

Who We're Looking For
You should know cars. Not just brands. Trims, packages, mileage curves, common issues, what a clean title and a solid Carfax actually look like, and what a car is worth in today's market (not last year's).

Auction buyers or runners (our auction folks have been some of our best)

Used car buyers or vehicle appraisers

Auto sales pros looking to step off the showroom floor

Service advisors, wholesalers, or detail shop veterans ready for something new

Serious car enthusiasts and flippers ready to go pro

Beyond the car knowledge, you'll need to:

Work independently and stay organized without someone standing over you

Communicate clearly and honestly with private sellers (a lot of this job is talking to regular people about their cars)

Negotiate firmly but fairly. Nobody wants to sell to a lowballer, and our reputation travels.

Hold yourself to high standards of integrity

Carry a valid driver's license with a clean record
