## Player Services Manager### **POSITION PURPOSE:**To ensure all Golf members and their guests receive the pinnacle service experience that reflects the Hallbrook Country Club standard of excellence, while maintaining a first-class golf facility and supporting the Golf Professional Staff and Player Service Attendants.---### **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**• Work with the Golf Professional Staff to deliver a welcoming and rewarding golf experience to members and their guests
• Assist with various responsibilities before, during, and after Club golf events to ensure member needs are met
• Maximize member utilization and satisfaction by providing impeccable service to all members utilizing the Golf facilities
• Supervise, coach, and counsel Player Services staff in accordance with the Hallbrook Country Club employee manual and code of conduct
• Maintain close working relationships with Locker Room staff with a focus on member-guest experience; partner with appropriate staff on tournaments
• Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity
• Assist with golf cart fleet management, including proper cleaning, charging, and maintenance practices
• Assist the Golf Professional Staff with on-course support as requested
• Study the tournament/event calendar to effectively communicate details with members and guests
• Retrieve golf bags from member/guest vehicles or storage; ensure all bags are properly tagged, cataloged, and stored in the correct location; load bags onto golf carts
• Ensure golf carts and windshields are clean, charged, and properly stocked with scorecards, pencils, tees, etc.; may be required to shuttle carts to different areas of the Club
• Perform practice facility duties as assigned, including daily range setup, ball retrieval and cleaning, and shotgun tournament preparations
• Maintain the Golf Cart staging area, including cleaning, sweeping, trash removal, and ensuring clean towels and fresh water/ice are available
• Ensure the Golf Cart wash area is consistently maintained and free of debris throughout the day
• Attend to each player and their golf equipment, including cleaning clubs and accurately replacing head covers before returning equipment to storage or the Bag Drop
• Monitor Player Service Attendants to ensure proper handling of equipment and goods to minimize breakage and loss
• Ensure labor standards align with business volume and remain within budget parameters
• Assist with monitoring Player Service Attendant timecards, correcting missed punches, and approving for payroll processing
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow team members
• Perform other duties as required---### **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & OTHER ABILITIES:**• Private Club (Golf, Country Club, or similar) experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience in golf operations required
• 2+ years of prior management or leadership experience preferred
• Working knowledge of golf operations systems such as Clubessential, Golf Genius, and EZGO Pace
• Advanced understanding of hospitality and service standards
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English required
• CPR and AED certification preferred---### **PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:**• Ability to be on feet for up to 80% of the scheduled shift
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds and perform repetitive physical movements including standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and turning for extended periods
