Position: Functional Analyst (Healthcare Business)
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Functional Analyst (Healthcare Business) to support healthcare operations for a federal client. In this role, you will provide business and data analysis activities that enhance clinical workflows, improve system integration, and strengthen healthcare delivery efficiency in a mission‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
Support government informatics staff in defining business and data requirements for clinical systems
Document productivity metrics, system requirements, and operational change requests
Assist with integration and implementation plans that enhance healthcare delivery and clinical workflows
Support process improvement initiatives for clinical business operations
Contribute to the development and monitoring of operational procedures and policies
Assist staff with administrative coordination related to healthcare operations
Provide meeting support for clinical business reviews and operational discussions
Coordinate conference room scheduling for healthcare operations activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years experience supporting healthcare operations or business analysis
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with healthcare business analysis and workflow documentation
Experience with clinical systems requirements and process improvement initiatives
Data analysis supporting healthcare operations
Ability to collaborate with clinical and operational teams
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, data entry standards, and health information management processes
