Senior Infrastructure Engineer

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field* 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or related role* Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud such as Azure or AWS)* Strong experience with Windows and Linux server administration* Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise storage solutions* Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)* Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools* Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA* Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare systems* Experience supporting Epic EHR or healthcare IT environments* Experience with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible)* Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure, AWS)* Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools (SolarWinds, Splunk)* Experience with high-availability and fault-tolerant system design* Experience working in a healthcare or academic medical environment**Start Here, Change the World**At The University of Texas at Austin, tradition meets innovation in the heart of a city that frequents lists of the best places to live and work.
