Job Description
A vacancy exists for a Third Grade Interventionist to support the Steps to Success Summer Program at Mountain Ridge Intermediate.
Dates of Program: June 15- July 17. The program will be held from Mondays to Thursdays, from
8:30 am to 1:30 pm .
Teachers: Opening Prep: Prep days on Monday, June 15th & Tuesday June 16th
Time with Students: June 17th to July 17th
Clean up: July 17th PM (after students leave) - teachers will clean up their classrooms and check out
Students: June 17, 2026, to July 17, 2026

Job Title: Title I Elementary Education Intervention Teacher
Job Type: Certified - Grade Level - Elementary/Intermediate School
Job Type Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching reading and math within the Federal Program of Title I in grades K-2. The successful applicant will support personalized learning, perform reading intervention, perform progress monitoring on at‑risk students, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley Co. Teacher Pay Scale based on degree level and verified years of experience
Specialized Skills
The successful applicant must hold WV teacher certification in Elementary Ed for grades K-2. Preference given to candidates with Master's in Reading and reading intervention experience.
