
Digital Intern

We are seeking a digitally savvy, creative‑minded intern for our social media team who is passionate about content, culture, and storytelling. The role involves creating, scheduling, and managing social media content across major platforms, editing short‑form videos, and supporting live coverage of events.
Responsibilities
Assist in creating and scheduling daily social media content
Monitor trends and flag emerging topics for engagement opportunities
Edit short‑form video clips for use across platforms
Write captions and help craft engaging copy tailored to different audiences
Organize and update content libraries and asset folders
Support live coverage of events or show tapings
Participate in weekly content brainstorms and team meetings
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant program (Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, etc.)
Deep familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X)
Basic experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
Strong written communication and copywriting skills
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
Interest in pop culture, music, entertainment, and digital trends
Bonus: Experience with video editing, meme culture, or social scheduling platforms
Work Experience
Work experience in media field a plus
Career interest in media industry
Education
Full‑time undergraduates (rising Junior or Senior) at a four‑year college
Minimum 3.2 GPA
Media field of study a plus (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Broadcast Journalism)
College/university transcript
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay: $17.00.
