Senior Oncology Account Manager – Nebraska/Iowa
This role builds and maintains strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders in private practice, medical group practices, hospitals/academic medical centers, and ancillary staff involved in the care of cancer patients. The Senior Oncology Account Manager is a clinical and business leader who represents Genmab by delivering approved disease and product information and resources to key decision makers within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Effectively support Genmab's hematology portfolio in the U.S. marketplace.

Meet or exceed assigned sales goals by positioning the benefits and use of Genmab's products for appropriate patients.

Demonstrate effective time management by focusing efforts on engagements that drive brand value and prioritize activities that impact patients.

Develop and implement robust territory business plans centered on performance; meet or exceed territory productivity requirements.

Flex between virtual and in‑person engagements and tailor the business plan to account communication preferences.

Analyze key market data points and translate insights into effective business planning.

Develop strong, long‑term relationships with customers across all assigned accounts, continually challenging customers with value‑based solutions.

Represent Genmab's brands in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.

Demonstrate thorough understanding of disease states, Genmab's brands, and competitor products, and articulate value through all communication mediums.

Show high proficiency in the reimbursement environment; understand reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for injectable medications.

Exhibit highly effective territory management and superior selling competencies.

Create access to customers in the modern landscape through creative strategies.

Foster team effectiveness and shared goal accomplishment by sharing knowledge, experience, and information.

Effectively manage territory resources and budget.

Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of Genmab U.S. staff.

Requirements

Minimum of a BS/BA degree in any discipline.

Five or more years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals; minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in the oncology marketplace. Hematology experience preferred.

Experience with hematology/oncology product launches.

Strong account management capability, superior selling competencies, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Strong business analytics skills to understand and analyze market drivers, and to develop, execute, and adjust territory business plans.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network.

Effective teamwork in matrix environments.

Track record of self‑development to drive and enhance performance.

Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Veeva, etc.

Flexibility, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Commitment to operating with industry laws, regulations, and high ethical standards.

Must live within the assigned geography of Nebraska/Iowa.

Compensation & Benefits
Proposed salary band: $160,000.00–$240,000.00. The actual offer will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and long‑term incentives.
