First Team Subaru Norfolk is a large‑volume, certified Subaru Service Center and the fastest‑growing Subaru dealership in Hampton Roads. We are seeking career‑minded, experienced service technicians to join our team and help maintain the high quality of service that our customers expect.

Job Description
As a Service Technician you will work in a high‑volume service center, performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Subaru vehicles. You will use state‑of‑the‑art tools and the CDK system to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring that customer vehicles are returned on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics on Subaru vehicles.

Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks, including oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and major component replacements.

Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and shop instructions.

Use shop tools and equipment, including the CDK system, to log and track work orders.

Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and customers about service progress and recommendations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

High School or GED required; Subaru certification preferred.

Knowledge of the CDK system is a plus.

At least 2–5 years of automotive service experience.

ASE certifications (at least two) to qualify for factory training.

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Successful background check and drug screening required.

State Inspector’s license is a plus.
