Subaru Norfolk Experienced Service Advisor
Dealership location: First Team Subaru Norfolk.

Job Description
As a Service Advisor, you will generate additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products and programs, and other after‑sale items to both new and pre‑owned customers. You will also provide exceptional customer service and manage the service process from check‑in to completion.

Essential Duties include:

Meet and greet customers upon arrival to the service lane.

Provide extraordinary customer service and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Use the latest technology to engage the customer and efficiently check the vehicle into the service department.

Follow the Service Road‑to‑a‑Sales process.

Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and technicians, including training and motivating.

Work with the Service Manager to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.

Coordinate all service/repair work with the Team Leader to achieve completion times.

Communicate professionally with each customer and ensure that all promise times are met.

Provide solutions for every customer, including repair options and alternative transportation.

Advise each customer on the specific needs of their vehicle.

Monitor the system to ensure that technicians meet all promise times.

Offer a multi‑point inspection to every customer and sell additional technician‑recommended repairs or service.

Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.

Experience and Skills
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Have excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Have working knowledge of computers; CDK experience is a plus.

Additional requirements:

Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record.

Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
