Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is the primary point-of-contact for customers having their vehicles serviced at the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedules service appointments by gathering as much information on the needed repairs as possible.
  • Greets customers on the Service Drive, performs a vehicle walk around and properly documents customer concerns for the technicians.
  • Keeps customers informed on needed repairs, changes in cost quotes and the time vehicles will be ready for pick up.
  • Completes an active delivery at the time of customer pick-up, reviews all work performed and goes over the final bill.
  • Maintains excellent customer service scores.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by the company/manufacturer.

Core Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of previous automotive service experience.
  • Outstanding organization and follow-up skills.
  • Desire to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Must be goal-driven and have a strong desire to succeed.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
