Job Description
First Team Subaru Norfolk is looking for an
Express Service Advisor !
We are experiencing year‑over‑year growth in our Service Departments and need a dynamic individual to round out our team.
Essential Duties
Produces additional revenue by selling finance, insurance, and after‑sale items to customers.
Meets and greets customers on the Service Lane.
Provides extraordinary customer service and an exceptional experience.
Uses technology to engage the customer and efficiently check the vehicle into the Service Department.
Follows the Service Road‑to‑a‑Sale.
Establishes and maintains good relationships with customers and technicians, including training and motivating.
Works with Service Manager to secure reasonable profit from each sale.
Coordinates all service/repair work with Team Leader to achieve completion times.
Communicates professionally with each customer and ensures all promises and promised times are met.
Provides solutions for each customer, including repair options and alternative transportation.
Advises each customer on the specific needs of their vehicle.
Monitors the system to ensure technicians meet all promised times.
Offers a multi‑point inspection to every customer; able to sell additional technician‑recommended repairs or service.
Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
Experience and Skills
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Accountable and capable of achieving goals with limited supervision.
Strong work ethic and team‑oriented mindset.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Self‑motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Computer proficiency; CDK experience is a plus.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co‑workers and vendors.
Additional Requirements:
Pass a motor vehicle record check and maintain an acceptable safe driving record.
Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
