What You'll Do
Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic vascular sonography exams as ordered by physicians
Verify exam orders and consult with physicians regarding any necessary changes
Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment for procedures
Utilize advanced sonographic skills to obtain and evaluate diagnostic images
Identify and differentiate between normal and pathological findings using independent judgment
Analyze sonographic data, patient history, and clinical information; communicate findings to physicians
Prepare preliminary reports and coordinate communication with referring providers when needed
Ensure accurate exam documentation and billing
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
Address patient care concerns and resolve issues appropriately
Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professionalism
Participate in ongoing professional development
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program (CAAHEP preferred)
Current
Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT)
certification (required)
Proficiency with vascular ultrasound equipment (e.g., Mindray DC-8, GE E10, Parks Physiologic Machine)
Strong competency in vascular studies, including:
Arterial and venous duplex (upper and lower extremities)
DVT and venous reflux studies
Carotid, abdominal aorta, mesenteric, and renal artery duplex
Hemodialysis access studies
Physical demands
Moderate lifting: up to 50 lbs. maximum. Must be able to stand, stoop, lift and walk without restrictions.
License/Certification

Monday–Thursday 7:30am AM – 5:30 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
