The Registered RT / CT Technologist works under the supervision of the Imaging Department Medical Director to provide high-quality patient care focused on the comfort and well‑being of patients and their families. This role requires a customer service‑oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills to provide care to patients from diverse backgrounds. Independent decision‑making is expected, and the technologist may be responsible for managing a modality and delegating patient care assignments based on workflow and team needs. The technologist must maintain professional standards of Radiologic Technology while utilizing clinical skills and critical thinking to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage, and evaluate patient care.

This position is expected to perform in both the Radiologic Technologist (RT) and CT Technologist roles within the department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform radiologic (RT) and CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care during all imaging procedures

Maintain compliance with radiology and CT safety standards and best practices

Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper image quality

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support patient care

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Assist with workflow coordination and support departmental operations

Sign on Bonus and retention pay eligible.

Education

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree required

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience

Minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred

CT experience and/or registration required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of radiologic and CT imaging procedures and protocols

Strong understanding of patient care and safety practices

Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment

Licensure, Registration, or Certification

Registered by ARRT in Radiologic Technology

Kansas Radiologic Technologist license required

CT Registration required (within 1 year if not currently obtained)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
