Full‑Time Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse
to join our growing cardiovascular team. As part of the
Beth Israel Lahey Health
system, Exeter Hospital offers the resources of a leading regional health network while maintaining the close‑knit, patient‑focused environment of a
small community hospital .
Our Cardiac Catheterization Lab is
ACC‑recognized
as a
designated Cardiac Cath Lab with PCI accreditation —a distinction that reflects our commitment to exceptional quality and advanced cardiovascular care.
The department is entering an exciting phase of expansion and innovation. We have
recently begun participating in Electrophysiology (EP)
services and are
actively expanding to add a second lab , allowing us to increase capacity, broaden capabilities, and continue delivering truly comprehensive cardiac care close to home.
In this role, the RN will collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and EP procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab RN who is passionate about advanced cardiovascular care and wants to contribute to a growing program in a supportive and community‑oriented setting.
Requirements
Recent Cardiac Cath Lab or EP experience
Candidates without CCL experience,
2+ years ICU / PCU / ED required.
May consider recent cardiac telemetry / post cardiac cath care experience and can demonstrate critical thinking skills.
Graduate from accredited RN Program. BSN preferred.
RN license ‑ NH or other Compact State
ACLS and BLS required upon hire
Major Responsibilities
Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table following specified protocols.
Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics.
Performs conscious sedation.
Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus.
Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses.
Assists Physician in interventional procedures.
Recovery of patient to Phase
Acts as a liaison between family, patient and Physician.
Performs procedures to include non‑sterile, dressing changes and maintaining aseptic technique.
Performs all duties of staff RN as appropriate.
