Field Manager (Mixed Services: Janitorial + Construction Final + Specialty)
Location: Western Washington (Everett to Issaquah, Olympia, Silverdale)
Schedule: Full-time; schedule varies (early mornings/evenings/weekends as needed)
Reports to: Operations / Project Management
Compensation: DOE (based on experience)
Transportation: Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement (based on assignment)
Role Summary
The Field Manager is responsible for daily oversight of crews and job sites to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to ACM quality standards. This role focuses on execution in the field—supporting crew leads, completing inspections, solving problems quickly, and keeping communication clear between the field and the office. This position does
not
handle hiring; it is strictly crew management and jobsite performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee multiple job sites and service types (janitorial, construction final cleaning, and specialty services as assigned)
Lead and support crew leads/technicians: set expectations, coach performance, and follow up on issues
Conduct routine site visits and quality control inspections; document findings and ensure corrections are completed
Confirm crews have clear job instructions, access details, and the right supplies/equipment before shifts
Respond to urgent field issues (call-outs, lockouts, missed tasks, customer concerns) and coordinate solutions fast
Train and retrain team members on procedures, safety, equipment use, and customer standards (as needed)
Enforce safety policies and jobsite requirements (PPE, site rules, and safe work practices)
Track attendance, timeliness, and job completion; report updates, concerns, and wins to leadership
Communicate professionally with on-site client/property contacts and elevate concerns appropriately
Help protect equipment and supplies through proper use, basic troubleshooting, and reporting repair needs
What Success Looks Like
Consistent quality scores and fewer re-clean/rework visits
Crews are prepared, on time, and professional on-site
Problems are handled quickly with clear documentation and follow-through
Customer complaints decrease and communication improves
Safety expectations are followed every day
Required Qualifications
2+ years of team lead/supervisor experience in janitorial, facilities, construction cleaning, or similar field operations
Strong leadership and communication skills (clear direction, calm under pressure)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Comfortable using mobile apps for schedules, checklists, time tracking, and reporting
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet across active job sites
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple sites/crews at once
Knowledge of construction final cleaning standards and commercial janitorial expectations
Safety certifications (CPR, lift operator, flagger) or willingness to obtain
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
