Camp Bus Monitor (1 position)
Exceptional Children Support
The Camp Bus Monitor supports students with exceptional needs during transportation to and from campsites and other field trips. The monitor ensures student safety, provides assistance as needed, and supports positive behavior while riding the bus.
Key Responsibilities
Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
Support students with exceptional needs during transport
Monitor student behavior and ensure safety
Communicate student needs to the driver and camp staff
Follow individualized student support plans when applicable
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience working with exceptional children preferred
Patient, attentive, and compassionate
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow safety and support procedures
Dependable and responsible
