Lewis-Palmer High School is looking for an Assistant Principal beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.
Under the general direction of the principal, this position assists with the administration and coordination of the high school and will supervise the reporting and monitoring of student attendance, with follow-up student/parent contact where necessary. Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of board policy and district procedures relating to student discipline, student rights, and communication with students, parents, and staff. Candidates will supervise record keeping related to student discipline and student attendance and provide direction toward utilizing those records in the creation of accurate reports as needed and serve on educational committees with students, parents and/or staff, in order to continually improve learning experiences for students and enhance home/school communications. Candidates should have knowledge of the district's evaluation procedures and practice those procedures in evaluating assigned staff members and maintain a commitment to ongoing growth in self and others, supporting and participating in district, and site professional growth programs. Candidates will research alternative methods of scheduling classes and implement procedures, which facilitate the achievement of program goals. Candidates will also develop plans for emergency situations, in cooperation with staff and public safety agencies.
Compensation Range for this position will be $88,152 - $97,548. This position will work on 205 day annual calendar and is eligible for full benefits.
