Job Summary
Lewis-Palmer Elementary School is hiring a Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. The principal leads academic excellence and personal growth of every student, overseeing school operations, maintaining a safe environment, upholding laws, and managing personnel, finances, and facilities.
Responsibilities
Organize school operations around improvement of instruction
Maintain a safe and orderly environment
Uphold state laws, contracts, and district policies
Manage personnel and maintain the facility
Efficiently manage financial and facility resources
Establish effective public relationships
Coordinate instructional programs with a master schedule
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field
Any additional coursework required for certification or licensure
At least five (5) years of successful elementary school teaching experience (preferred)
Successful elementary school leadership experience required, experience as a principal preferred
Working knowledge of Standards-Based Education and familiarity with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
Compensation
$102,660 - $113,028 per year.
