Full-Time MDS Coordinator
Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to promote the physical and emotional well being of nursing home facility residents using the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) to gather information from residents and their families during initial and periodic interviews. Utilizing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as the key tool in the process of assessing the functional capabilities of residents, the MDS Coordinator formulates, implements and monitors individualized care plans for residents to ensure their effectiveness. In addition, the MDS Coordinator must make sure all strategies comply with Medicare standards and ethical standards.
Qualifications
2 years experience in MDS position
Valid Arkansas Nursing License
Current CPR Certification
