Come be a part of an exciting new chapter in the growth of the Roman Catholic Church in Southern Nevada. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, in Las Vegas’ Summerlin area, is one of the three largest parishes in the Archdiocese with an active and vibrant community of faith. Our people actually sing!
We’re seeking a full-time Director of Music Ministries to join our collaborative team. Our present director is looking forward to some rest after many years of nurturing our worship experience.
Responsibilities
Development, planning and coordination of the musical life of our parish, elementary school, faith formation and sacramental ministries
Recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision and ongoing development of all choirs, ensembles, instrumentalists, and cantors
Ordering and maintaining all musical supplies, equipment, copyrights, etc.
Qualifications
Exempt position with excellent benefits and flexible hours to accommodate a variety of schedules
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in music or comparable experience in a parish setting is desired
Keyboard and choral conducting expertise are required
