Position Details

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 8

Responsibilities
Evaluates, administers, and directs therapeutic procedures used in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner. Establishes goals of physical therapy and re‑assesses patient progress regularly with appropriate documentation. Supports patients of all ages. Communicates with patients, families, peers, and other professionals to provide continuity of care. Evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments. Establishes treatment plans and uses methods such as exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands‑on therapy, and equipment to ease pain and promote recovery. Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters. Documents and reports patient progress. May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers.

Qualifications
Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. New graduates acceptable.

Licenses & Certificates

South Carolina Board Certified / Eligible

Current Driver’s License

BLS required
