Overview
Job Title: Phlebotomist | Location: Bridgeport, CT | Duration: 2+ months (Possible Extension/ Temp to Hire) | Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr on W2
Job Summary
The PSR is the face of our company, providing a positive patient experience while performing phlebotomy and specimen processing. Responsibilities include drawing blood (pediatric, adult, geriatric), verifying patient information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safety and professionalism in a high-volume OB clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Draw and process blood specimens accurately and safely.
Verify patient demographics and labels; maintain proper documentation.
Provide excellent customer service and create patient trust and confidence.
Follow established procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
Work independently and adapt to flexible hours or multiple locations as needed.
Qualifications
Phlebotomy Certification is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
1-3 years phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, capillary collections).
Customer service experience preferred; data entry/keyboard skills required.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if travel is required.
