General Responsibilities
Strategic Event Lead & Project Management
Project Leadership:
Apply Principal Project Manager methodologies to architect and maintain comprehensive project lifecycles; defining critical paths, identifying dependencies, and establishing clear accountability through robust frameworks.
Strategic Alignment:
Partner with senior leadership to translate business objectives into high-impact event strategies, ensuring every activation adheres to Enterprise Network standards and brand guidelines.
End-to-End Oversight:
Drive the planning, coordination, and direct execution of all logistical workstreams, ensuring tactical delivery is rooted in defined event KPIs and measurable goals.
Vendor, Sourcing & Financial Stewardship
Strategic Sourcing:
Lead the RFP process for venue selection and vendor partnerships, leveraging negotiation strategies to maximize value and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Financial Management:
Exercise rigorous fiscal oversight by tracking multi-stream budgets, managing complex invoicing cycles, and ensuring seamless payment processing in alignment with corporate audit standards.
On-Site Execution:
Provide expert on-site management of venues and third-party vendors, acting as the primary point of contact to troubleshoot real-time challenges and ensure flawless production.
Travel:
Willingness to travel (40%-50%), both in U.S. and globally.
Experience & Technology Integration
Cvent Platform Mastery:
Architect the end-to-end attendee journey via Cvent, including custom registration builds, app creation, and the utilization of real-time data for tracking and executive reporting.
Communications Strategy:
Develop and deploy pre- and post-event communication plans that drive engagement, reinforce key messaging, and gather actionable insights through post-event analysis.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of events management experience within the financial services industry
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Experience planning international events
Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification(s)
