As a X-Ray Tech, you will:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images
Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation
Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly
A few must-haves for X-Ray Techs:
Activelicense within the state of Indiana
Active ARRT R
2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility (X-Ray)
At least one year of recent level 1 trauma experience is required.
Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
Must be able to remain calm under pressure
Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
