Assistant Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
Job Description

Monday – Friday every week

On‑site location: 1501 W GLADSTONE AVE, AZUSA, CA 91702, US
Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PM) and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment and components.
Maintain the Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) backlog.
Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and advise the Senior Plant Maintenance Manager when additional work is required.
Inspect the quality of third‑party repairs and rebuilds.
Recommend improvements to enhance production, equipment performance, and product quality.
Multitask and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Respond to emergency breakdown service calls.
Perform work with limited supervision while maintaining high performance standards.
Be flexible with work schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet operational needs.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
Perform repairs in line with Waste Management Safety, Life Critical Rules, and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
Must be over 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Use of motor coordination with arms, hands, fingers, and legs.

Occupational exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
Work setting may include material recycling facilities, repair/maintenance facilities, and outdoor environments.
