
Pump Mechanic

Seeking a Pump Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Sparks, NV.
Pay: $40+ per hour (based on experience) and full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!
Responsibilities
Repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start‑up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.
Complete tasks from installation, startup, scheduled maintenance, functional & performance testing, training, project closeout, and warranty transition.
Check all equipment after installation and prior to start-up of pumps and associated equipment within the allotted time and in a professional manner.
Get service tickets signed by appropriate company representative before leaving location.
Work with customer to understand equipment issues, troubleshoot and diagnose root‑cause problems, and arrange necessary parts and service to resolve issues.
Communicate relevant customer comments, inquiries, questions or concerns to appropriate personnel.
Be available for after‑hours field service when needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
3–5 years pump experience.
Experience with rotating equipment repair.
Experience with vibration and alignment tools.
Must have your own hand tools.
Additional Information
Physical Demand:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Outside field jobs; extreme cold/heat.
Travel:
As needed; acceptable driving record according to company guidelines; company vehicle.
