About the Role
This contract Financial Analyst role supports North American Retail Finance Operations and plays a key role in margin analysis, financial reporting, and a major SAP implementation scheduled to go live in October.
This is a hands‑on, task‑driven position ideal for someone who is comfortable with detailed, manual work and enjoys supporting the business across a wide range of needs. The scope is broad, the volume is real, and flexibility and patience are essential. You’ll be well supported by a collaborative finance team spread across North America.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support daily margin analysis and proactively identify issues
Perform extensive reconciliations and tie‑outs, including P&Ls, margins, costs, supplier programs, and freight
Build and review journal entries with a solid understanding of debits and credits
Assist with monthly financial close in partnership with operational accounting teams
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to regional, divisional, branch, and corporate stakeholders
Support budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and monthly business narratives
Respond to frequent ad‑hoc financial and reporting requests
Support data harmonization, testing, and reporting refinement during SAP implementation
Work across all North American retail operating regions to identify profitability opportunities
Assist with integration of legacy systems and processes
Partner with regional, divisional, and branch leaders to improve operating and financial performance
Take on additional projects as needed
What They’re Looking For
Relevant financial analysis experience (type of experience is more important than formal education)
Strong SAP experience required, ideally in customized environments
Background in reconciliations, P&L analysis, and journal entry preparation
Advanced Excel skills
Extremely detail‑oriented with comfort handling manual processes
Enthusiastic, flexible, and open to taking on any type of work as priorities shift
Patient and adaptable—this role has a learning curve and is not mastered quickly
Experience in agriculture or oil & gas is a strong plus
Strong communication skills, integrity, and a collaborative mindset
Work Environment & Team
Hybrid role based in the Loveland, CO office (not fully remote)
Finance team consists of multiple regional finance managers across North America with analysts supporting various regions
This analyst is not dedicated to a single region
Strong onboarding, training, and team support provided
Interview Process
One panel interview with 2–3 team members
30–45 minutes
In‑person preferred; virtual option available if needed
This is a long‑term contract opportunity with hands‑on SAP exposure, strong team support, and high likelihood of extension tied to an ongoing system implementation.
